HUD/FHA COMPLIANCE (FEE) INSPECTOR
FHA Compliance (Fee) Inspectors in Illinois
PSI is one of a limited number of FHA Fee Compliance Inspectors on the Official HUD FHA Fee Inspector Roster in Illinois. We can perform a stand alone, complete FHA Inspection and supply an FHA Minimum Property Standards Report. If requested, both the FHA Inspection and standard Home Inspection can be packaged together, for a significant cost savings over individual inspections of the same type.
When are FHA Compliance (Fee) Inspections required?
All FHA loans require property appraisals, but not all will require the submittal of an FHA Compliance Inspection Report. HUD-92051 form. The HUD-92051 (Compliance Inspection Report) is only needed in specific circumstances.
Some examples:
New home under construction and not completed at the time the FHA appraisal is done.
Existing homes undergoing major (or even minor) remodeling or reconstruction.
Items typically requiring an FHA Compliance (Fee) Inspection (assuming you are using an FHA Loan):
Home repairs specified by an FHA Appraiser
Roof repairs specified by a Roof Inspector
Damage by WDO (Wood Destroying Organism - aka: termites)
Grading or other site issues on newly constructed homes
Construction or completion issues on newly constructed homes
Verification of the proper completion of a newly constructed home
Compliance inspections are required to be completed by an FHA Fee Inspector.
